We’re dedicated to providing a holistic approach through education, evidence-based practice and personalised treatment plans to empower you as an individual to be active in your own rehabilitation to reach your goals faster and with better results.

Musculoskeletal Injuries
Bones, joints, muscles, ligaments and tendons – put it all together and this is what supports and allows your body to move. Suffering from pain, stiffness, or an injury, extending from your spine, shoulders, elbows, knees, hips or ankles – physio can help you.
Orthopaedic Rehabilitation
Pre-operative and post-operative rehab focuses on reducing pain, restoring mobility, increasing strength, stability and function for a fast recovery after surgery. This includes joint replacements, reconstructions, fractures and more.
ACL Rehabilitation
Return to sport post ACL injury is a long and complex rehab that requires clinical expertise and patient specific parameters. Australia has one of the highest rates of ACL reconstructions in the world with a significant risk of re-injury within the first 12 months following return to sport.
Sports Injuries
Our true passion not only involves getting you back to do what you love but keeping you there. Successful return to sport and sports injury management throughout the season demands a deep understanding of the competition, the athlete, previous medical history, training load, position and biomechanical demands of the sport. an individualised evaluation based on your sports, level of competition, previous medical history, goals and current training load.
SMART goals:
mapping out a path to track your progress and reach your objectives.
Personalised training plan:
designing a tailored training program specific to you, complimenting your strengths, targeting your weaknesses and incorporating sport-specific movements and drills for optimal performance.
Load management:
monitoring your training volume and intensity so you reach your peak performance at the right time of season and to reduce the risk of injuries – increases of 15% or greater than the previous week’s training load increases your risk of injury by 21% - 49%.
Ongoing support:
regular contact with your physio and coach is essential for your success, we’re here to support you and keep you accountable
Sports Remedial Therapy
At The Locker: Performance and Rehabilitation, we understand the effectiveness of manual therapy is inconclusive due to the limited amount of high-quality evidence and low number of reliable studies.
Some studies suggest manual therapy provides short term benefits to alleviate pain, increase flexibility, improve joint mobility, reduce psychological stress and promote faster recovery.
To provide a personalised service to fit our patient’s needs and desired outcomes, manual therapy can be utilised to bridge the gap from pain and dysfunction to functional retraining and return to activity in the earlier phases of rehabilitation. Our manual therapy services offer:
- Soft tissue massage
- Joint mobilisations
- Active myofascial release
- Trigger point therapy
- Dry needling and cupping.

- 12x week performance and/or rehabilitation program
- $120/weekly or $480/monthly – no lock in contracts.
- An initial consultation (60 mins) for a comprehensive physiotherapy assessment – this can be done in-clinic or via WhatsApp / Zoom
- Physical screening and assessment
- 1x subsequent physiotherapy consultations (60 mins) each month
- 5+ professionally structured training or rehab sessions each week
- Personalised treatment/training designed to meet your needs, your goals and your desired outcomes – this is not a one size fits all service. We will be monitoring and updating your plan weekly to reach your dream results.
- Subscription to ‘Teambuildr’ – an elite strength and conditioning app to track your program, progress and monitor your performance.
- Weekly check ins
- Daily communication through ‘WhatsApp’ for physio and mentoring
What you can expect.
Situation:
a) Client interview: we’ll go through a detailed line of questioning to get to know you, understand your situation, identify your issues, any relevant medical information provided (i.e. scans, reports, referrals) and voice any of your concerns.
b) Physical assessment: a comprehensive physical evaluation of your functional movement patterns, mobility, strength, posture and special tests to identify deficiencies, imbalances and any underlying issues.
Mission:
c) Diagnosis: after the assessment, we will explain our findings, what they mean and discuss a personalised treatment/training plan that will be effective for you.
d) Goal setting: establish short-term and long-term SMART goals to prioritise what is important to you and to incorporate in our treatment plan.
Execution:
e) Personalised treatment plan: putting the personalised treatment/training strategies into action – this can range from manual therapy techniques, load modification and management, functional retraining or individualized training programs.
f) Empowerment: providing you with ongoing 1:1 support, education, self-management strategies and your proactive involvement throughout your treatment/training.
Administration
g) Resources: whether it’s the rugby league preseason, you’re preparing for your first corporate boxing challenge, require a return to run program post ACL surgery or just simply want a mobility program for your hips – all clients get access to their personalised programs through the strength and conditioning app ‘Teambuildr’ to track their structured treatment/training plan, progress and outcome measure.
Command and Communication
h) Ongoing support: setting ourselves apart from traditional physiotherapy, all our clients will have direct access to us via ‘WhatsApp’ for ongoing support – this is a much more personal approach to rehab and coaching, so you don’t have to wait for your next appointment to contact your physio.
